Privacy at Short Drama Spot

The headline: we do not collect personal information about you, and we would rather not have it. Here is the fine print, minus the legalese.

Server logs

Like nearly every site, ours keeps a plain access log. Every request leaves one line behind: a timestamp, which address was fetched, our reply’s status code, the referrer, your browser’s user-agent string and the network address that Cloudflare passes on. We read these logs to fix errors and to block abuse, not to profile anybody.

Cloudflare

Short Drama Spot is delivered through Cloudflare, which caches pages close to you and filters attacks. Doing that job means Cloudflare processes connection details, governed by Cloudflare’s own privacy policy.

The visit ping

Your first genuine interaction with a page (say, tapping the screen, clicking, typing a key or spinning the wheel) triggers one small anonymous signal. It reports three things: which address you are reading, the domain of the referring site when there is one, and how many milliseconds have passed since it loaded. No cookie rides along with it, nor any identifier or typed text. Scrolling on its own never triggers it.

Preview video

Preview video travels from hardware run by whoever owns the copyright, or by the app distributing the show, so that hardware receives your request at the moment playback starts. Some series arrive in one packed file; a small helper script (a service worker) unpacks the episode inside your own browser and stores nothing.

Commission links & your clipboard

Buttons leading to a full series can be affiliate links. The app or store you land on may set its own cookies and follows its own privacy policy; we do not receive personal details from it. Copying the search code on our hand-off page is something your own button press does; it never happens by itself. Whatever was in your clipboard before stays private, since nothing on this site reads it.

Things we simply skip

No accounts, no cookies of our own, no advertising networks and no third-party analytics. Short Drama Spot is an independent guide and is neither the producer nor the platform of any show listed here.
