Vampire progenitor Lucian runs into Luna, a Silver Moon princess with zero memory of her royal past, and their collision drags them into a conflict that has simmered for a millennium. Digging through the wreckage, they uncover a manufactured conspiracy engineered to keep their kinds at each other's throats. Luna makes the brutal call to sever her own bloodline, trading immortality and her throne for a human heartbeat.
